• You are encouraged to deposit your "MY (OUR) TALENT SERVICE FOR 2009" form in the box at the Visitors Table in the Narthex.  These forms were mailed to you this past week.  Thank you for your speedy response!

  Rev. Moore will be at Village UMC for Renewal Weekend October 26th, 27th and 28th.

• The position of Church Publicist is open to anyone wishing to fill this spot.  Those interested should send or present their resume to the Staff Parish Relations Committee Chairman, Bob Smith or to Rev. Dr. C. E. McAdoo.

• Casual dress, by the clergy and laity, is in order for the months of July and August.

• Driver Safety Refresher Course - Wednesday, July 23; 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  You may register by calling the church office at 922-1030.

• Firehouse Gang Sunday & 35th Anniversary of Village UMC, July 27th, 2008 -- If you have any Firehouse Gang memorabilia, the church would like to borrow and display these items on the Sunday of Celebration.  Bring your items to the church during the week of July 20th - July 24th.

• The July/August issue of the Upper Room is now available in the Narthex.

• Attention Nursery Volunteers --  Please check your calendars and sign up when you're available.  We need to have a nursery attendant for both services each Sunday.

• The Frazier-Natho Sunday School Class would like to invite you to join them at 9:30 a.m. in Room 224, directly across from the elevator.

• The Believers Sunday School Class would like to invite you "early birds" to their 8:15 a.m. class in Room 24, across from the elevator.

• The Nurturing Committee -- Our committee was formed in 2000 to assist fellow church members in a variety of ways.  We can help with errands, transportation to appointments and church, minor maintenance in the home, and, if possible, several days notice in advance is greatly appreciated.  Call the church office at 922-1030 to initiate your particular need request.

• Curb-Side Angels -- Sponsored by the Methodist Men, continues to need volunteers.  Call Charles Dawson at 915-0084.

• Monthly Finance Report is available in the Library for your review.  Copies are available in the office.

• CD copies of the complete Worship Service are made on Fridays for the weekly request list in the church office at a cost of $1.00.
