  • The Radio Ministry Needs You! -- The broadcast of our Sunday morning Worship Service on the KVRE radio station each Sunday costs $75.00 per week and is tax deductible.  This is a vital ministry supported directly by indiviual good stewards, and currently has a number of available dates in need of sponsors.  This ministry helps our members that are unable to attend church to be a part of the worship service each Sunday and is also an outreach to our community.  Please call the church office at 922-1030 to sponsor a program on your special date.

  • New Altar Flowers Policy -- Alter flowers each sunday are arranged and delivered by "Beckwith Visions" on Hwy. 7.  If you wish to sponhsor a special Sunday, call the church office at 922-1030 to reserve your preferred date, or you may put it in writing with the detail bulletin information we need and deliver it to the church office.  Make your check for $30 payable to VUMC and designate "alter flowers" on your check memo area.  The Flower Chart used in the past will no longer be used.  flowers for the narthex and roses on the altar must be ordered and paid for by the person ordering, but please call the office with the information you want in the bulletin.  Thank You.

  • Volunteers play a vital role in the well-being of our church.  In this spirit of stewardship, we are in need of:
         1.  A volunteer to supply the sanctuary with offering envelopes, tidy up the song books, etc. which takes about an hour once a week every other month.
         2.  Help in preparation of CHIMES newsletter for monthly bulk mailing.  This will take half of one day in the last week of the month.

    Please call the church office at 922-1030 if you are willing to help.January/February issue of the Upper Room is now available in the Narthex.

  • Curb-Side Angels -- Sponsored by the Methodist Men, continues to need volunteers.  Call Phil Shroyer at 915-0367.

  • CD copies of the complete Worship Service are made on Fridays for the weekly request list in the church office at a cost of $2.00.
